Common Questions
Before You Contact Us
You can file an appeal by completing form RA-01 (Notice of Appeal) and submitting it, along with your grounds of appeal and the required supporting documents, within 30 days of receiving the tax authority’s decision. Forms can be submitted online through the appeals portal or in person at our Kingston office.
No. You are not required to have legal representation to file or pursue an appeal with RAD. You may represent yourself, or you may choose to be represented by an attorney or other authorised representative if you wish.
Timelines vary depending on the complexity of the case, but RAD aims to determine most appeals within a reasonable period following the completion of the hearing process. You will be kept informed of key milestones, including your hearing date and the final determination.
You can check the status of an existing appeal using the Track Your Appeal tool with your appeal reference number, or by contacting our office directly by phone, email, or WhatsApp.
